Friday and Saturday were a success! Thank you so much! Colleen, Jane, Keri, Wendy and Colleen were absolutely wonderful. They made cleaning out the basement, which was so overwhelming, go so much faster and smoother. We could not have done it without them. Everyone worked well together. My Mom is so happy. 1-800-GOT-JUNK came and picked up the junk pile tonight. We have SPACE!!! Again, thank you!

Elaine and I will be checking with Mom, going forward. She may need additional help as we continue to downsize her. Now that she has met and worked with the girls, she would be comfortable with them at the house, even if we were not able to be there for short specific jobs.

My home on Aloha Lane in Gladwyne was on the market for 8 months, completely empty after we moved out. Having not received any offers during that time, our realtor recommended that we stage the house, and referred us to Dragon Design, LLC. Within 2-3 months of having our home staged by Dragon Design, the house was sold!

I had lived in this home for over 10 years and loved the property. I was certain that the house would sell quickly. The house was in a great location with lots of amenities. Unfortunately, it seems that with the house empty, potential buyers were unable to see possibilities. No imagination.

By having the home staged, Dragon Design, LLC provided buyers with the vision of the potential of the house. I am certain that would we have left the house un-staged, the property might still be on the market. While I was skeptical at first, I can attest that it was well worth the expense.

“I am working Mom with two young kids. My husband travels a lot for work. We originally had Dragon Design, LLC into our previous home to gives us staging advice, should we decide to sell instead of rent. It turns out we did opt to rent, so we did not need to stage the house. But, we were moving into a much larger home that was going to need furniture. Who has time to shop for furniture? I know I didn’t. Sheila did a great job in understanding my style and delivered a great look while staying within my budget.

Our new home has an open floor plan and for us, it was difficult to plan a color scheme that blended well and, would work with our current furnishing and the new stuff she was in the process of picking out…and for the rooms we are currently unable to furnish. Sheila presented a color palette that was awesome!! She didn’t stick to the basic natural “safe” colors. We approved some great colors that I would have never selected and I am so pleased with the outcome…

Sheila and her team were always quick to respond, too. I know when I have a design question or need help, I can count on Sheila to help with our decorating projects. My next project will be our window treatments! Sheila is always a pleasure to work with!!”

In October 2008, my husband and I signed a contract for a new house and quickly put our old house up for sale. We knew that there would be risks but we didn’t imagine the major economic downturn and falling home sales that we faced in the following months. We were to settle on our new house mid-December so we knew that we didn’t have much time before the double mortgage started. As 2009 approached, we became very concerned about our situation. The house had been on the market 60 days and we had not had one offer. I had spoken to my realtor about having a “stager” to my house and she contacted Dragon Design, LLC. They took time out of their evening and came over that same day. On-site, that evening, Sheila immediately started to make changes – moving furniture, wall hangings and rugs throughout the house. Before I had Dragon Design, LLC come in and help me stage my house, my realtor had shown me comparable houses in my neighborhood and we had discussed what price we could realistically expect to obtain. My realtor felt that if we had Dragon Design, LLC help in picking out a color palette to paint the interior of the house, we packed up the unneeded belonging and had the house staged, that we could easily get $20,000.00 to $30,000.00 more for the house.
